Create your account
Sign up with your name, email, and a password. This is your family account — you'll use it to manage all storytellers and read their answers.
Add a storyteller
Enter your storyteller's name and choose their preferred language. Smriti instantly generates a unique access code like SMRITI-4782 that belongs to them alone.
Share the code via WhatsApp
Tap the WhatsApp button on their card. A pre-written message is sent with the code and simple instructions. They do not need a phone number, email, or account.
Watch the stories come in
From your dashboard, tap "View Story" on any storyteller's card to read every answer as it arrives — beautifully laid out, question by question.
Invite contributors
Tap "Add Contributor" on any card to invite a sibling, old friend, or relative. They receive a link and answer 5 warm questions about your storyteller from their own perspective. Their memories appear in the View Story page.
Common Questions
Can I add more than one storyteller?
Yes. From your dashboard, tap "+ Add Another Storyteller" to set up as many people as you like — each gets their own unique code.
Can the storyteller change their language later?
Yes. On the question screen, they can tap the language indicator in the top corner to switch to a different language at any time.
Where are the answers saved?
All answers are saved securely in your private account. Tap "View Story" on any storyteller's card to read everything they have shared.
What if the storyteller loses their code?
The access code is always visible on their card in your dashboard. You can copy and resend it via WhatsApp at any time.
